The happiest country in the world 2017

Norway received the title of happiest country in the world in 2017, according to a United Nations report. The truth is that this northern European country is often at the top of the rankings that look at factors that bring well-being to its citizens. And what about the most beautiful countries in the world? Norway could well get on the podium as well.

Dramatic fjords traversing high mountains, arid, raw and beautiful nature, harsh winters, northern lights, Viking past, red cottages, cities with colorful wooden buildings, an organized capital and with examples of modern architecture. But what makes the Kingdom of Norway a special country anyway? All these ingredients and many more.

Norway was voted the happiest country in the world this year, according to a United Nations report, based on six factors: gross domestic product per capita, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, social support and no corruption in government Or business. Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Sweden were considered the countries with the highest social confidence, equality and well-being.

The Land of the Fiords, as it is also known, has a little more than 5 million inhabitants. Part of its territory is spread over more than 150,000 islands. Strict winters, where you feel the strength of the Arctic cold, and mild summers mark the Norwegian climate. After seeing the photos above, we are sure that you will also want to pack and depart for Norway on an upcoming trip.  More info:
